If you would like to see more than the standard tourist sights, Cambridge Corners offers some alternatives - six walks within the city and a further eight within four miles of the city centre.

This walk around Wicken Fen should be of particular interest to birdwatchers.

The Isle of Ely isn’t an isle - though it used to be before the fens were drained. This walk takes a 5-mile ramble around it. Courtesy of Calor Gas.

Three walks around St. Ives - no, not the Cornish one! They vary from a short stroll to around seven miles. A ‘virtual tour’ of the walks is available!

Huntingdonshire is part of Cambridgeshire and isn’t, for some reason, included in County lists. More of a district, it’s an ancient area with plenty for the walker to enjoy. This is the District Council website.

This is quite an old page but the walk’s still there! It was put together to celebrate the Millenium and is an eight-mile circular walk around the village of Hardwick.
